The airport is adding eight new international routes for spring and summer 2026. Sounds exciting. More places to go. More options for holidays, business trips, quick getaways. But here’s the part people don’t always think about — getting there in the first place.
It usually starts simple. You book a flight. Pack your bags. Then you try to get a taxi. That’s where things begin to slow down.
Passenger numbers are already high. Really high. Now add more routes, more travelling, more families heading abroad, more workers flying out. It all builds up. And it doesn’t stay inside the terminal. It spills outside. Onto the roads. Into pickup zones.
Taxis are in demand. More than usual. Especially for routes like Islamabad and Lahore coming back. A lot of people rely on these. Visiting family. Important trips. Not something you want to risk missing.
