Flibco Launches 24/7 Airport Coach Service Between London and Stansted

Flibco, a well-established European airport transfer provider, has announced its entry into the UK market with a high-frequency coach service linking London and Stansted Airport. Set to launch on April 1, 2025, the service will operate around the clock, offering travelers a reliable and cost-effective alternative for airport transportation.

The newly introduced route will feature 96 daily services, running every 30 minutes in both directions. The service is designed to enhance connectivity for passengers traveling to and from Stansted, one of the UK’s busiest airports, by ensuring minimal wait times and seamless transfers. Flibco’s decision to introduce this service aligns with growing passenger demand for efficient and affordable public transport options.

Departures and arrival points have been strategically selected to maximize convenience for passengers. Coaches will depart from Stansted Airport’s bus terminal, located just outside the Arrivals area, and will stop at two key transport hubs in London: Stratford Station and Liverpool Street Station. The Stratford stop, approximately 50 minutes from the airport, provides access to the Elizabeth, Central, and Jubilee lines, along with DLR and mainline rail services. The Liverpool Street stop, about 90 minutes from Stansted, is one of the busiest train stations in the UK and offers direct connections to central London and beyond.

Flibco has incorporated artificial intelligence-driven scheduling to optimize departures, ensuring alignment with flight times. This means passengers will have increased travel flexibility, particularly during peak periods when additional services will be available. Standard tickets will remain valid for any journey on the day of travel until 4 AM the following morning, while fully flexible tickets can be cancelled or refunded just minutes before departure.

Flibco’s new fleet of coaches has been designed to enhance passenger comfort, featuring free WiFi, USB charging ports, and air conditioning. The company has also emphasized sustainability by ensuring all vehicles meet Euro 6 emission standards, the most efficient CO₂ standard for diesel-powered transport.

The UK expansion is part of a broader investment strategy by Flibco, which aims to allocate up to £45 million into the UK market over the next five years. This investment will also support local employment, with the company expecting to create 80 new jobs as operations expand.

Tickets for the new service are now available for purchase on Flibco’s website, with fares starting at £13.99 for a one-way trip when booked online. Passengers opting for return tickets can expect a lower per-journey cost, starting from £9.49 per trip. Tickets purchased directly at the airport or bus stops will be available at a standard rate of £16 for a one-way journey.

The launch of Flibco’s UK service marks a significant development in London’s airport transportation network. By offering a frequent, affordable, and well-integrated coach service, the company aims to provide travelers with a viable alternative to existing transport options, reinforcing Stansted Airport’s reputation as a well-connected travel hub.
